After our team has verified the availability of your chosen dates, you will receive a standard Charter Agreement for your signature from your trusted broker. If your selected cruising itinerary necessitates embarking or disembarking from a point other than Mia Kai’s home port, positioning charges (delivery/ redelivery fees) may be applied. These charges, if applicable, will be confirmed in advance before your final booking and will be included in your Charter Agreement, together with any taxes that may apply.

All our guests are required to pay a 50% deposit before they can have their booking confirmed. Fees are payable by bank transfer after the Charter Agreement is signed. A stakeholder withholds the money. The remaining 50 per cent, together with any taxes, is payable before the start of your charter adventure. In case of cancellation, please refer to the cancellation policies stated in your Charter Agreement.

No extra expenses are charged if you do not exceed the 6 hours cruising limit. This means the package includes all food, drinks (house wine and beer) and water sports activities. You’ll be charged extra if you request fine spirits and wine and exceed the cruising range. Also, activities like scuba diving are available but are not included.

Before boarding our superyacht, our team will ask you to complete a detailed questionnaire describing your preferences and specific needs, including the number of people participating. Nothing will be left out, such as dietary or medical requirements, details of any allergies, and your sporting or entertainment requests. You can also specify your desired itinerary or have our team design one catered to your preferences.

We strongly recommend our guests take out Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance to protect their investment if unforeseen circumstances prevent or curtail their charter. Additionally, all members of the charter party are covered by Personal Accident and Medical Insurance, and their personal effects should be insured against theft, loss or damage. Our team will be happy to advise on insurance matters before you commence your charter. 

All recreational equipment listed on the website should be correct but cannot be guaranteed as they are liable to change at short notice. Should changes become necessary, the yacht’s owner will make every effort possible to comparably replace the equipment.

Tipping the crew gratuities is discretionary. Although it is customary, the guest is not obligated to do so. Crew gratuities are usually approximately 10 per cent of the charter fee but can be adjusted up or down according to the level of satisfaction.
The best way to ensure that all crew members receive equal recognition is to entrust the distribution of gratuities to the captain to distribute equally. 

Smoking is only allowed outside and in specific areas. For safety reasons, smoking inside and in cabins and staterooms is prohibited at all times.
